1. Acceptance of these Terms
By using Mind Energy Publisher, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the application.
2. Description of the service
Mind Energy Publisher allows users to authorize access to a YouTube channel through Google OAuth 2.0 and upload video files to that channel using the YouTube Data API.
The application runs on the user's computer. Authorization to a YouTube channel is provided through Google's OAuth authorization system.
3. Authorization to YouTube channels
You may use Mind Energy Publisher only with YouTube channels that you own or for which you have been authorized to manage and upload content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all permissions required to access the channel and upload content to it.
You must not use Mind Energy Publisher to gain unauthorized access to another person's Google Account or YouTube channel.
4. Google OAuth authorization
Mind Energy Publisher requires Google OAuth authorization to perform YouTube API operations.
The application may request permissions to:
- view YouTube account and channel information in order to verify the channel associated with the current authorization;
- upload video files selected by the user;
- set custom video thumbnails;
- update video metadata or publishing settings.
The exact Google OAuth permissions and their use are described in the Privacy Policy.
You choose which Google Account to authorize and review the permissions requested by the application before granting access.
You may revoke the application's authorization at any time through your Google Account.
5. User content
You retain responsibility for all video files, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and other content or metadata that you upload using Mind Energy Publisher.
By using the application, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and publish that content.
Mind Energy Publisher does not grant you any rights to content owned by another person or organization.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mind Energy Publisher:
- to upload content that you are not authorized to upload;
- to violate applicable laws or regulations;
- to infringe intellectual property or other rights;
- to circumvent YouTube access controls or technical restrictions;
- to interfere with Google, YouTube, or their services;
- to perform unauthorized or abusive API activity.
7. Google and YouTube terms
Use of Mind Energy Publisher in connection with YouTube remains subject to applicable Google and YouTube terms, policies, API policies, community rules, and usage restrictions.
Mind Energy Publisher does not modify or replace your obligations under those policies.
8. Availability of the application
Mind Energy Publisher relies on Google OAuth, the YouTube Data API, Internet connectivity, and other services operated by third parties.
Changes, interruptions, quotas, authorization restrictions, API changes, or outages affecting those services may affect the functionality of Mind Energy Publisher.
Continuous or uninterrupted availability of the application is not guaranteed.
9. API quotas and restrictions
YouTube API operations may be subject to quotas and other restrictions established by Google.
Mind Energy Publisher cannot guarantee that a requested upload will be accepted or completed by YouTube.
Users remain responsible for verifying the result of their uploads.
10. Privacy
Information about how Mind Energy Publisher accesses, uses, and stores Google user data is provided in the Privacy Policy.
11. Termination of access
You may stop using Mind Energy Publisher at any time.
You may revoke Mind Energy Publisher's Google OAuth authorization through your Google Account and remove locally stored authorization credentials from the computer where the application is used.
12. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mind Energy Publisher is provided without warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, availability of third-party services, successful video processing, or acceptance of uploaded content by YouTube.
13. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Janna Bennett is not responsible for actions taken by Google or YouTube, including API restrictions, account restrictions, content moderation decisions, channel actions, quota changes, or service interruptions.
Users remain responsible for the content they upload and for verifying that uploads were performed correctly.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the functionality of Mind Energy Publisher or applicable legal or platform requirements change.
